Driving through Alabama on the way home a couple of days ago, I saw the following sign:
  • I surrender myself willingly to thee
    Oh my God!
My [xian] friend wondered what I had found that was so funny but I didn't have the heart to tell her about the image of Jesus-as-Dominatrix that was in my head. This image was complete with Sunday morning parishioners sitting submissively while Jesus ran gleefully through the pews handing out ball gags and butt plugs.

Yeah, I'm a sicko.

I'm in the Nashville area. It's not as bad as it could be. I could be living in one of the rural areas. *shudder*

There's a Christian Fellowship Mission along the airport road that's visible from the main road I sometimes take in to work. It looks like a giant warehouse, pretty much.

Anyhow, that's where I go to get my marquee fix if I'm ever craving one. One that always sticks in my mind is:

"Christianity is not a crutch. It's a speedwalk."

"Jesus Christ is Lord of UW Madison"

On a church which is in some old warehouse or something with yellow smiley faces painted all over it. yikes.

Yes, Sharon,

Try living in the Appalachian isolated communities..

HERE...HOLD THIS SNAKE...LOL

I live on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau...

My office is in Chattanooga, but frequent the whole Tennessee area when work demands...

You a Titans Fan?
