That picture always makes me wonder...when do the damned find the opportunity to shave? Are there barbers in hell?

Yeah, whoever painted that picture must've been pretty fucked up, but that's the way I think about a lot of art...

It's by Hieronymus Bosch http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/bosch/. My art history teacher showed this painting to my class junior year, and he quickly became one of my favorite artists. She explained that Bosch believe no one could enter heaven, and a girl looked at me, because that was my theology at the time (and sort of still is). Of course, I don't believe in the classic "fire and brimestone" hell. Hell is simply the return to non-existance.

Collages are really neat. Did you ever play Super Mario 3? That was a video game dedicated to the principal of collage.

I voted for Kent Hovid, (as did about 89% of the voters), but my favorite Creationist nut isn't on the list: Jonathan Wells.

Author of "Icons of Evolution", Dr. Wells has also been a Moonie since the Nixon administration. Thus, he really does believe not only that Jesus Christ has returned to the earth, but that he has returned as an overweight Korean jail-bird who spent 18 months in prison for - - hold on - - failing to pay taxes on money earned through fraud!

But that wouldn't get him on my list of wacko creationists. What earns him that high place is his recent insistance that genes do not control embryonic development!!

Dr. Wells promises to publish results of his research into this phenomena and I can hardly wait to read it.

By research, does he mean actual lab research, or are we to expect just another trip to the library?
