I didn't think I was losing my touch, take a look at the pisiform clearly visible at the base of the "thumb" in the "fossil", now take a look at it's position in the human hand diagram above.

The "thumbs" in the fossil are in fact the pinkies, just as in the pdf file of the Turtle.

Yep, it's probably a primative Turtle. (assuming it is genuine!)

They certainly look like human hands to my untrained eye. Aren't the rings and jumper sleeves a bit of a giveaway?

Oolon Colluphid:
(b) can someone remind me how to do Amazon links for Infidel credit please? I’ve lost that info

Find the ISDN number on the amazon page, then do "http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/(your ISDN number here)/internetinfidelsA/"

Like so:

An Introduction to Human Evolutionary Anatomy

Beautiful detective work, guys, but you've played right into the opposition's hands: All you've really done is proved the existence of an Intelligent Designer, and I'm afraid that his name is Master Splinter. Cowabunga, dudes!

Cool

Many thanks Jesse! Though it might be better to link to the paperback edition (thus) (a ‘mere’ $64.95 rather than the nearly $200 for the hardback!) It's a hell of a book btw. Like all good textbooks, every page shows why cretinists are so full of shit...

And I've got to hand it to Boro for his astute observation. We're typical evolutionists: we looked so hard at the details that we missed the bigger picture

Cheers, Oolon
