But are you familiar with the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra? In many respects it is a logical development of Theravada thought. Of course when you get into the Lotus Sutra and the Diamond Sutra you are getting more into a mytho-poetic form. There it's harder to dig out what they're getting at.
