I agree with everything you said here. If I were to participate in the march, it would be as a polite Atheist. In general, I'm fairly certain that those Satanists for whom their movement is but a facade for some deeper philosophy will also approach this march with a positive attitude. They might wear pentagram t-shirts and dress in all black, but they probably won't be covered in blood and yelling obscenities at passerbys. The disruptive Satanists that people here seem to fear are not likely to show up. If they do, I'm sure the rest of us can put them in their place.
I think there should be a statement about conduct requirements for the Godless March. It should be emphasized that mayhem will not be tolerated.
