Actually I just hate it when people turn blue when they stop breathing. Maybe that's why I do CPR so often.

No! I have not, but I only beat her for her own transgressions.

Stop dancing around the question.

If I were the type to dance around the thread's question, I would have to either turn off the news, or keep beating my wife 24/7.

Should billions of men beat their wives for the actions of one woman?

So then your answer to the original question is "yes." It doesn't matter wheather you can defend them or not, the suffering will still occur. Why then do you have a problem with me or Wildy saying "yes" too? We said "yes" for the exact reasons you listed above.

Rufus, why don't you answer my simple question with a yes or no answer? Ask Wildy too.

Should billions of men beat their wives for the actions of one woman?

Now you're just contradicting yourself. If you are willing to let the family in my example suffer--it doesn't matter if you are willing to help allievate that through defending them--, then your answer to the OP should be "yes." You can't say that you'd let the family suffer and then say that you wouldn't.

Loud and clear. But I couldn't hear an answer to my simple question. Maybe I should use JUMBO letters?

I told you specifically that I would NOT let the family or the boy suffer.

What does it matter how successful my attempts are at defending them?

I would not LET billions of people suffer for the actions of two people!

Is this thing on?! <tap tap tap>
