I heard this on a tv series/movie I saw yesterday (said by an old funny jewish rabi):
«Jews have the guilt, Christians the forgiveness» In a way this seems true, from what I've learnt all my life, and yet I still feel guilty for things I do or don't do, even when I know it's silly and doesn't make sense, even when I 'felt' the forgiveness or tried to do it, everytime I put myself first I felt guilty. Stupid, heh? |
