And if it all came down to a head, where would the humans be? On top. Right or wrong, we have the capabilities that no other animal has, that being the choice to decide where, in the overall scheme of things the human doth fall. It will inevitably be on top, to the detriment of other animals of this world. We are the smartest and also the most foolish. Irony certainly has a part to play in all of this.
Then you understand that humans are not exactly the smartest species ever ... we just better evolved, that's all. Irony? what will be irony is when we blow ourselves up, some of us could still consider that as a great feat. |

Seraphim,
The yoga for sex addicts site is a JOKE. A parody is defined as: a literary or musical work in which the style of an author or work is closely imitated for comic effect or ridicule. A feeble or ridiculous imitation. The Landover Baptist site is meant to be one big parody of Christian beliefs in order to demonstrate just how absurd some of those beliefs can be. Sadly some people actually believe this way and take the sight "seriously." Brighid |

I'm still not understanding whatever basis you are using for "smart." Evolution happens when the fittest survive and thrive. That is what we humans are doing. Sure, we could blow ourselves up but that argument doesn't hold water because it hasn't happened yet. I would tend to look more at the positive aspects of what has been happening where people all over the world have banded together in the name of peace. |
