here, let me step in and help randman out a bit.
after exhaustive research over my 40+years I have found the following 5 items to be the most compelling, well reasoned and scientifically supportable arguements for a "Young Earth".
and I have many more where these came from

1. It's in the Bible
2. It's in the Bible
3. It's in the Bible
4. It's in the Bible
5. Mother Earth doesn't look a day over 6,000

what? you don't actually think there are defensible "YEC" arguements do you?

You're dodging the challenge, Randman: "Why don't you surf on over to the AiG website and pick out the one argument for a young-earth or for flood 'geology' that you think is their absolute "best." Then come back here and post a link so we can discuss the argument at length (as time permits). Let's see who is taking the straw-man approach, shall we?"

Post the best argument that you claim we've been avoiding. It's becoming quite clear that you're the one trying to avoid a straight-forward debate. You are the one resorting to strawman fallacies.

If you were content to teach evolution only to grad students, then I would agree, maybe I am out of my league, but since evolutionists want this stuff taught to 4th graders, and in soem forms even to kindergarterners, I think it is incumbent upon evolutionists to porve their points within a context of anyone with a 4th grade education, and if it can't be done, then we shouldn't be teaching stuff to people that they are incapable of determining on their own if it is right or not.
Well, then I guess that Randman must take his car to be repaired by 4th graders, and his medical bills must be very low as 4th graders work for cookies and very low wages.

In <a href="http://iidb.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=58&t=000355" target="_blank">this thread</a> randman has stated: "BY the way, I choose what I respond to not you."

Something tells me this isn't going to be his "choice." Back to the top it goes again.

Gee, Randman is asked for a single best argument from AiG that he wished to defend, and he posts 8 URLs.

I think he is unclear on concept and insists on a "Gish Gallop."

It would appear that all of these deal with the age of the earth. I thought that you were discussing evolution.

And we can be that he does not understand the absolute contradiction between Gould's stasis and a six thousand year old Earth.
