We never did touch on how they handled this in the middle ages with the story of The Wandering Jew. This nasty Jew had the nerve to laugh at the story of the Rapture. When JC said "there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God" he was cursing this poor giggling bastard. This laughing boy lived on and on always getting older but never dying, year after year. Just wandering around Europe asking people to pity him because he didn't believe Jesus and was now doomed. Doomed to wander till the end of the world.

You don't need logic, either. That is the problem. You believe anything as long as it's written in the bible. Would that include doodlings by children?

If he exists, he would be guilty of making his word hard to comphrehend. Does he want people to be saved or not? Why not simply appear to representatives of other religions and tell them they're wrong?

No he doesn't. It says the rapture will take place in the lifetime of the original audience over a dozen times. Since it didn't happen he doesn't believe that the bible means what it says. He makes up his own story which isn't written in the bible and claims that the bible says what he wants it too. The rest of us "are spiritually discerned"because we only read what the book says, again and again...I have no idea what that term even means. Probably that we won't play make believe with him.
