I also use in concert with that a 3rd party utility called Proxomitron.
Ive also used the Proxomitron it is a really good product. It goes way beyond merely popup stopping it clamps down on all manner of web annoyances. The only reason I stopped using it is because I kept having to reconfigure it to allow certain pages to display properly it was overkill for me.

Cool

I've been happy with AdSubtract.

It blocks popups, ad graphics, animated gifs, java, javascript, referrers, cookies, etc.

I never liked mozila or any of those type of browsers. They just don't have enough going for them for me to put up with the bugs, and slowness.

And whats wrong with IE? Its right there on my PC when I install my OS. It always works. Great user interface.

I don't really see po-pups as being as much of a problem as people often make them out to be. Just download one of a whole slue of PUBs out, and problem solved.

Hell, the only time I ever need to even turn my PUB on is for porn sites.

[edit: I use Panicware Pop-Up Blocker Companion, and it works fine. I used to use Earthlinks Pop-Up Blocker, and that was awesome. It literally prevented any window from coming up but the current one. And windows you want to come up weren't a problem because all you had to do is double click the link or hold down the shift key. Unfortunately Its no longer available as a stand alone program, and you have to install a bunch of other crap to use it.]

A question for those who claim bugginess for Mozilla...

What prehistoric version were you using?

I find the last few releases far more stable than Internet Exploder.

re: the original question.

Yes, I had that problem once, and un-killed all my killed windows until it started working again. I haven't seen the problem again, so I didn't do any furter investigation as to what happened.

I dig this program, but this new development makes it unusable. Anyone ever have this problem and figure out how to solve it?
I use www.naviscope.com.
