*CARDINAL LAW* is in trouble; as well as Edw Egan now Cardinal of NY, who apparently did the same sort of sweeping-under-the-rug when he {Egan] was a bishop [formerly]in Connecticut. Note that the Archdiocese of Boston { The Boston globe reported recently} has already paid out c. TEN MILLION dollars in damages, very quietly to hush up the depredations of that same EX-priest, Geogan, who has just been found guilty, at last in a public, secular Court.... The matter is certainly far from over; there's a long string of cases against both the man Geogan AND against the Cardinal & the Archd. , still to come to trial... Stay tchuned.

Amos, your priests are snakes, your church is a ediface of nihilism and a gathering area for the deluded.
Ruin a boy's life and then say your "hail marys". Off to the bar goes your snake priest with the spider cardinal's blessing.( Apologies to the brilliantly evolved animals who are actually innocent of human vile, but get used as definitions) Vile, snake priests. Vile two-faced seducers. |

Just yesterday I read that the problem is actually much bigger in other churches and bigger yet in society as a whole. Do you perhaps know of any millionaires that have been fondled by a priest? Maybe that's just the ones I know. Selective vision again. Never fails does it? |

Amos, Well, surely there are pedophiles everywhere, in all stratas of society. A pedophile is a hurting unit no matter where he shows up, agreed. That there are pedophiles in other churhes doesn't surprise me, they also have to hire human refuse to do their bidding just like your catholic church. Don't get too hurt when I call your priests-snakes, the protestant pastors are very snake-like too. Rattle, rattle, hiss...
I actually enjoy all these stories of pedophilia among the clergy. If it turns more people away from the delusions of religion then maybe it will be a positive thing. Let us celebrate more steps on the road to the destruction of all forms of the christian myth and all its delusions. May the clergy of all religion keep the snake in their pants. |

The church requires an adult male to live a celibate life, yet part of his job involves receiving deeply personal information from often vunerable people. Then it wonders why their behaviour get's all sick and twisted.
Seriously if you had to create the perfect job for a sexual predator to operate in then this would be the perfect one. What is truly sickening is the cover up mounted by the church when they find out before the law. The perpetrators may be mentally ill and in need of treatment themselves, but those doing the cover up have no excuse, that is just a cold hearted cowardly act of self preservation. I can't think of punishments harsh enough for them. |
