The one millionth post isn't too far off. Should there be some kind of celebration once it is reached? Will there be any way to tell who will make the 1,000,000th post?

On second thought, the 1,000,000th post still might be a few months away, but it's something to look forward to.

I don't know, but I don't think it matters. The IIDB's one millionth post will still be the IIDB's one millionth post.

What he is saying, is that the archives may not have been part of the vBulletin upgrade that happened not too long ago, so it may be well over 1 million posts.

The world may never know.

Whether a million posts have occurred or not is irrelevant, as the system will still show to the world that the millionth post has occurred. It will still be damn cool.

One million cumulative posts on the IIDB or 1,000,000 posts on the vBulletin IIDB? Yes, either way it calls for a celebration.

1,000,000 posts will be cool, now all we need is a post counter that shows how mant posts until 1,000,000

Since the switch over was in late December, as I recall, having over 900,000 posts in 4-5 months would be very impressive. I would guess that it does include the archives.

Now the trick is to figure out who makes that millionth post, and to decide an appropriate 'award'.

Oh, and Welcome to IIDB Paperstreet!
