P.S. to luvluv - My indepth contributions to "other threads" (ahem!) will likely have to wait until Monday, as I need *time* to fully digest and respond to a multitude of points brought up in my absence. But (Arnold voice) I'LL BE BACK... don't you worry 'bout that

OK then... Iraq? Iran? Syria? Saudi Arabia? Afghanistan? Or... are they not countries????
My reply : And do this Muslims attend to stop non-Muslims from having wealth and other stuffs (power I do agree because Muslims attend to get VERY uncomfortable - to say the least, when dealing with someone non-Muslims who weild some sort of power)? According to Islam itself, it requires non-Muslims to pay homage (jizyah) to Muslims government (sometime like your regular income tax) and other than this, there is no other demands or restrictions (other than religious ones) in terms of social from Muslims. Muslims maybe a crazy bunch, but they attend to follow their religion very closely. Only Muslim bunch ever to get criticism of their misdeeds were the Talibans and their destructions of the Buddha's statue and their misdeeds with their fellow Muslims. |
