Default Great quotations....

"Blood alone moves the wheels of history"
- Benito Mussolini

All men are not Equal; Thus speaketh Justice
- Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spake Zarathustra

Again, I am not a fan of Nietzsche, but he is occasionally correct.

'There is no avoiding war. It can only be postponed to the advantage of others' - Niccolo Machiavelli

I have two favorites

"Happiness is the only good. The place to be happy is here. The time to be happy is now. The way to be happy is to make others so." --Robert G. Ingersoll

"It's hard to meditate on amphetamines." -- Joe Walsh

Often the uninformed use the latter quotation to prove that Stalin was a monster. In fact, when one man dies, we feel sad thereabout. When a million die we cannot comprehend it, and consequently it is to us little more than a statistic.

I never liked that Ingersoll (for he is too dogmatic). That sounds like something a woman would say.

Force and mind are opposites; morality ends where a gun begins.
