I doubt that Pat will go, my money is on Vincent and Saxon or Kim.
Yeah, I'm thinking Kim will probably go. Although I don't really want her to. I know she's a bit stupid, but I find her entertaining.

I can't belief how much of a fool Saxon made of himself when Jo went. I just wanted to punch him.

I watched my first episode of Big Brother on Sunday (since the occasional forays during the first series) and was aghast at the collective stupidity on display. These are very ordinary people thinking that they are unique because they are in a unique situation.

I can't believe such a banal, boring, shallow and superficial bunch of people are attracting an audience.

Yes, Jo lead them on but Saxon and the other guy were such idiots that absolutely deserved it. They should all be evicted and forgotten as soon as possible.

Well Saxon is only 19, so although he ended up being a fool for her I think it's forgiveable. She didn't just lead him on though. He was resisting her for a while, but she kept trying to pull him in. Then once she had him it was all a process of manipulation. Patrick is 30, so his case is less forgiveable. Vincent was a fool, but she didn't lead him on much.

They are quite ordinary people in a very unusual situation. That's why it's interesting. However it doesn't start to become interesting until you see a few episodes and start to learn a bit about the people and the way they relate to eachother. At least that's how it was for me.

I'll concede that there is a peverse facination in shows like Big Brother but I still can't make myself watch them with any real interest. They irritate me so much.

Sshh. Don't tell anyone but I watched The Block the other night and found myself enjoying it. Even started to warm to a two of the couples and started to detest one of them. Looks like lashings of Lateline to make me pure again.

Better, but watching her wouldn't make me pure...for completely different reasons.

I'm referring to the commercial taint of Big Brother but I do undertand what you mean.

Same goes with Corinne Grant on the GlassHouse. Or Maxine Mckew (yes I do think she is damn sexy in a politcal/intellectual way).

Hmmm, Saxon and Kim, eh? I think they were two of the most interesting people left in the house. I suspect it will be downhill from here.
