Dude, I was in Japan when George died, and there was NO coverage because the friggin' empress decided to have her baby on the same day!

GRRR! I hate it when she's right!

[I voted for John Lennon BTW]

Dibble.
Well, The Beatles were the first Boy Band.

So why don't you?

It drives my wife crazy when I listen to the Beatles. She attributes it to me being 4 years older than her, but I remind her that I was only 6 when they broke up.

Hmm.. good question! I think I over-played them when they were still together. I seem to remember playing Seargent Pepper over and over again when I first got it.

Hmm.. I need something to drive my wife crazy (because my body sure-as-hell doesn't anymore!)

yes. He wasn't going to get big for many years.

The Rutles just seemed to have that special something that other bands lacked... I think it was their trousers.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Its debatable whether Paul or John was the most talented. I'll call that one a stalemate. However, John took his music in a direction that really spoke to me, and for that he gets the nod. Of course George had incredible talent as well, but who could measure up to Lennon/McCartney?

Uh yeah...I seem to vaguely recall many consecutive nights involving me, a pair of headphones, that album, and, oh yeah, LSD.

Not that they were still together at the time.
