Yeah, and don't ya just love how Christians always take offense at any work of expression - be it music, television, film or what have you - that depicts sex or violence ... and yet the central icon of their little mythology is a half-naked man nailed by his hands and feet to a cross?

Christian people are bloodthirsty too, whether they appreciate their Leader's sacrifice or whether they force sacrifice themselves.

"The Reformation, the massacre of Saint Bartholomew, the French religious wars, the Inquisition, the Reign of Terror are phenomena of an identical kind, brought about by crowds animated by those religious sentiments which necessarily lead those imbued with them to pitilessly extirpate by fire and sword whoever is opposed to the establishment of the new faith. The methods of the Inquisition are those of all whose convictions are genuine and sturdy. Their convictions would not deserve these epithets did they resort to other methods."

Gustave le Bon, Psychologie des Foules (1894)

So what kind of dinner does one order while being entertained by a crucifixion? Maybe a light vegetarian dish with a white wine that contrasts the violence being witnessed? Or do you just go with the spirit of the show and go with spare ribs, tomato soup, and an after dinner red wine? Or would it be inappropriate to get yourself some king crab and commence to cracking open the legs during the crucifixion scene itself?

I don't know. I think someone could come up with some nice football chant while Jesus is getting crucified.

Jesus,
Jesus on the cross,
boy he is at a loss,
Watch they slash his tummy,
now lets eat chocolate bunny.
They said he was king of the jews,
turned out disciples were nothin' but fools.

(Repeat until thrown out)

Or a cheerleader chant.

Here we go Jesus,
resurrect!

(then start a wave)
