"I thank God I was able to perform." Truly disheartening. I'll never pray for you. |

Ms. Stein died in the gas chambers of Auschwitz in 1942. She was a Carmelite nun. She is now a saint.

Correction:
She is not a saint. She was proclaimed a saint. |

Read again Gemma,
I said that I hold the catholic church responsible for at least 500 years of delay in scientific development, and who knows, if they had done that, maybe we would now have a cure for cancer. The debt of the church to mankind is so huge, and a few apologies from the pope for what the church did and does are not enough. We should sue the church!! Have you any idea what your church still today is doing?? Go as an example to the Filipines and see how their stance against birth control causes millions to be born in abysimal poverty. It cause the explosive spread of aids in a place where people cannot even pay for the simplest medication. And you live in a dream world with St Gemma's and other imaginary people! Don't you know that this entire idolatry looks like the communist system with "example workers". Opium for the people really. |

God is usually thought of as a personal being of great power, knowledge and goodness whose existence depends upon nothing apart from himself or whose existence is unconditional. Also, God is supposed to be a being upon which the existence of everything else depends.
This seems to make sense even if it is false. |
