Post Hi everyone

Ive been a heavy lurker here for over 12 months, registered 6 months ago and as I made my first post yesterday, thought Id introduce myself.

Im 31, been an atheist for as long as I can remember and live in the UK (where at least Im not subjected to the extreme level of religious fervour some of you guys have to put up with in the US). Im a PhD research scientist (supramolecular and solid state chemistry in case anyones interested) and in my spare time play a lot of guitar and read.

Having lurked here for so long Ive read some great stuff, many times seeing things written that Ive also thought or wondered but could never have put into words half as elegantly. Not to mention the many other ideas and excellent questions Ive now got in my arsenal to hit Theists with. This place is a mine of information not to mention a good place to relax.

Ive also had a good laugh recently reading the random, inconsistent gibberish of David Matthews, not to mention the other various Head-the-Balls (a Liverpool term for a nutter) who pass through here.

Now that Ive got that out of the way hopefully Ill now post more often.

Take it easy people.

Thanks Random Number Generator.

Shit, just realised I've posted this in Evo/Cre forum.
Mods, could you move this to the welcome forum please and excuse my gobshitedness.

Sure can. I was wondering why it was here, but I guessed that you had planned on posting only in this forum...
