Well, its pretty obvious that we are going into war. Question now is how long do you think this war is going to last?

The war on Iraq itself will not last more than 6 months. The problem I see is post-war. I think there will be a large amount of resistance by groups such as the Kurds to join an Iraqi democracy. I think that those groups will be more prone to want to create their own nations within the land Iraq is now... however the US won't let this happen, and fighting will begin between these groups and the US.

Fighting will go on for a couple months 2- 6. To the administration's annoyance, people outside of Texas, and Alabama will lose interest after 2 - 6 weeks.

And as always... the duration will be a lot longer than the war.

I think that the actual fighting will not last more than a few weeks, possibly even less. The real struggle will come afterwards--as the US attempts to occupy and govern a very complex and divided country. The real question is how long the American occupation will last, especially in the face of a world-wide recession and steep drop in American prestige. How long can the Bush administration keep coy about the real cost of the war to the taxpayers?

It should last about a month, depending on how long the Republican Guard in Baghdad holds out.
