That certainly changes the whole meaning of the article, doesn't it Amie? Like others, I opened your link expecting something more idyllic, while I wasn't bothered by the picture, I was indeed disturbed by the way the article was written and waxing about the "force of life".

Your tactics are quite underhanded, what was your purpose? To throw a live grenade into the forum out of boredom or just a desire to stir up the flames?

the picture is horrid. if theres one thing i hate more than seeing fetid children scampering around, screaming, oblivious to their surroundings, its ones either being born/fetuses. the only 'miracle' <if we wish to use such a misguided word> is that modern science has progressed as far as this, so we can in fact do operations on them. and even that doesnt seem like such a miraculous thing, as pz so appropriately pointed out, when there are already plenty of children that, with the right kind of basic care could survive.

but alas, i too was hoping for kittens:

Good catch on the Snopes article Sakpo! And Jane, it already is being exploited...according to Snopes

This picture has been mislabelled on many Internet web sites as a photograph of an abortion in progress rather than a fetal surgery
