I have been lurking on this forum for a while, and I have notices that many here type 'jebus' rather than 'jesus'. What's the significance of the alternate spelling?
edit: BTW the reason I post this question on THIS forum is because internet forums are a medium of popular culture. |

As an aside, Jebus also appears in the Bible (OT) several times, as an old name for Jerusalem and/or a region around Jerusalem (inhabited by the Jebusites).
