A headline on Internet gossip-monger Matt Drudge's Web site Wednesday evening blared ABC NEWS CORRESPONDENT WHO FILED TROOP COMPLAINTS STORY IS OPENLY GAY, CANADIAN.

Despite White House denials, Mr. Drudge himself said Bush officials handed him the information on the ABC reporter...

I know, I know... it's because they want us to call it by its rightful name... the state of North Michigan with its REAL capital, Upper Detroit.

As far as I can tell, the whole freedom fries thing never went anywhere, except in Bush and Co's wet dreams. In New York, we eat french fries!

I've seen it become a point of slight contention in northern Indiana, but mostly it gets laughed off.

If I go into a joint where they're serving 'freedom fries', I'll ask for 'idiot cheese' on my burger.

I was in Lewiston, ID a couple of weekends ago, and the local Taco Bell had renamed their Mexi-Nuggets as "Freedom Tots". WTF did Mexico do to piss people off?
