I should probably let this go, but I'm really curious: Which people hate the real-life relationship because of race? Do such people have enough influence to help generate the enormous anti-Gigli buzz? Personally, I don't see that race has anything to do with it, although especially in the case of J-Lo, a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with her acting ability or screen presence seem to come into it.

Also: to throw a monkey wrench into the whole interracial theory, I'd like to point out that it has almost always traditionally been "better" for white men to date nonwhite women than for white women to do likewise. ("Better" in the sense of "more socially accepted," of course.)

Maybe, but as far as what people see in music videos, etc, goes, I think a lot of white guys would think she's really hot.
