Hmmm ... so, if you should ever break your arm (Gods forbid), you would take it lightly if someone said to you the pain were your belief and your private business?

like said.....i like exploring about this with people. as expected i encounter hostility when mentioning about them i put this down to the myth against them, which is very old in myth
You not only stone yourself, you tell other people they should get stoned, and you’re surprised you encounter hostility?

why are you attracted to this if you dont agree with it i am wondering?
I was attracted to the title “Nature” of this thread. Had it been titled “hallucinogens” or something similar, I might not have participated at all.

Heathen. It’s a magical name, not a real name.

Heck, I've had plenty of ecstatic, almost "transcendental", experiences of nature without the help of drugs; flyfishing alone on a beautiful river, or walking alone through the woods at dusk or at night on a full moon, or sitting concealed on the edge of a desert canyon on a cold dawn, watching the day begin.

Campfires are great for such experiences, too. Last year, sitting alone late at night and staring into a campfire (and helped along by just a bit of whiskey), I had quite a trance-like experience, halfway between wakefulness and sleep, and hallucinating quite vividly faces in the coals.

(Next time you mistakenly send a blank post, edit it to put your text inside).

(In fact, you could cop my abuse of the edit button to good effect....)

That’s the pagan spirit, it is.

Well, if that's what it is, then call me a pagan!

I'm quite respectful to awesome trees, as well. I'll give 'em a pat and a good word or two when I see 'em.

so why am i emphasizing HALLUCINOGENS for the sole symbiotic purpose of bringing us closer to Nature again?
First, cause it did so for me...secondly friends it's done same for, and also the stuff i've read which goes into the history and mythology of this subject, the research inspired by my original experience with LSd when quite young

Hallucingenic inspiration is the EASIESt route to ecstasy. so why take the bus when you can take the
plane.

Meditation although some people really take to it, and there are exotic religions that advocate it is not for everyone. many meditate for hours and basically just sit eyes shut, life passing them by. when all outside are trees, birds, bees, clouds, sex, fun. yet there they sit with eyes shut like stone buddhas....heh i have a lot to say bout this. BUT i dont ridicule it if that's what you want. i challenge it being lorded over hallucinogenic experience though, and claim it was a replacemnt for it, and an elitist one at that. and not guranteed to give ecstatic experience neither

i am advocating ecstatic orgia.....the opening of our bodyminds in abandon. the relesing of emotions, rigidity

this is whay we aren't really natural when we don't even--aren't even aware of the danger we are in.

I dont get how taking LSD and partaking in orgies will solve the world's problems.

Default Resp to OP

Stop personifying/"entifying" "Nature", if you don't mind.
It appears that you may wish to set up the quasi-entity artifact "Nature" to assert your own prejudices about what is (for you) acceptible and proper.

Let me then insert here an opposition opinion (I forget whose.) , that
*whatever occurs, performed by an existing entity IZZ "natural"*. \
If this assertion of mine here is incorrect = false, you /anyone please give us a nother more adequate definition for "natural"?

Given lulay's frequent championing of hallucinogenics as part of religious practice, I'd be surprised if he didn't have certain disadvantages when posting that we do not.
