Dunno. Here in Europe, we know this gem by the name "Brain Dead".

Peter Jackson must be on there somewhere. What about Bad Taste or Meet the Feebles? Films only a cult could love

Nope, I was thinking of this movie...

which is directed by Frank Henenlotter who also directed the cult classic "Frankenhooker". I get "Braindead" and "Braindamage" mixed up all the time.

Escape From NY isn't even one of the top 50! And how does an Oscar nominated Best Picture make the top 10? Or the list at all?

One Australian cult movie, can't remember the damn name now, in the same vein as day of the zombies only it was hilarious.

There was a priest in it who had tried to help a young lad kill 3 of his former friends who had turned into zombies, he got bitten and ended up one himself. The lad ended up taking all 4 of them plus one female back to his house to look after them.

The priest and the female were at it like rabbits and inevitably had a sprog who was surprise surprise also a zombie.

It just went on and was the funniest thing I've ever seen.
That sounds like Dead Alive to me. At some point in the movie does the priest say "I kick ass for the Lord!!!"? If so, its definitely Dead Alive.

The Evil Dead trilogy was the first thing that came to my mind too.

Most of the films on the list skewed towards obscure horror films. And then they do a 3 page article on "Office Space" and don't rank it.

Cult comedies got a bum wrap (sure, "Clerks", "Spinal Tap" are on there and that's good). But what about "Strange Brew"? What about "The Sure Thing"?
