I have a few friends who are christians. Nice people, I love it when they get tied up in knots talking to me about God. In fact I have to say that I really enjoy talking to them about the contrast in what we believe. Its almost as if now we are friends on the basis of the contrast, we have so mush to talk about. I often contemplate that they are actually sincere about me being their friend but that 'I won't be saved'. Point is we have good times.

We have mutual acquaintences whom are also christians but try to evangelise to me. And if I feel in the mood I try to do some devangelising, I always laugh at the reactions of christians who hear that term for the first time.

Devangelising is now becoming a real hobby. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who gets ample opportunities.

Any tips on how to successfully promote reason as the only mode of making an arguement? Trying to get out of the dead end that is Faith versus Reason.
(does that sound like a headline for the next Don King fight night?)

I would think that there is no point to your cause.
Evangelists are motivated by faith, conviction, sometimes religious fanaticism.


"Devangelists" like you are rarely compelled to such a degree.

There will always be many more evangelists, what's the point?
