This part cracked me up

Quote:
Among the most amusing (and blatant) of Teaching About Evolution’s logical fallacies is exposed in Sarfati’s 9th chapter (“Is the Design Explanation Legitimate?’). After explaining how the NAS resorts to arbitrary, self-serving “rules” to determine what qualifies as “science” and what doesn’t, Sarfati points out:

“...Teaching About Evolution claims that the ideas of creation science have been examined and found unsupportable, then they claim that the ‘basic proposals of creation science are not subject to test and verification.’ So how could its proposals have been examined (tested!) if they are not subject to test?”2
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

A is a Theory containing B and C.
B & C are untestable
Therefore A has been tested and found False. NOT B & C YOU R^&$^#%$^%#$^%#%$ CRETIN! (Christ I wish the reviewer OR the Author were here so I could abuse them)

Whats amusing is that the reviewer has picked the worst, most unsubtly, easily demolishable critique of evolution as a shining exemplar of the creationist books logic.

Angry

oh, come on, people! if pres. bush said he was going to institute a christian theocracy in post-war iraq, robertson would have been happy as a clam!

once again, robertson is showing his arrogant hate for anything not western/christian. if it doesn't fit his limited mold of what society around the globe ought to be, then he'll rip it apart, and gleefully tell you how christianity is "superior."

If anyone ever says "I like Pat Robertson" or anything of the sort, I hope they die a very very painful death (or realize that pat robertson's an idiot, that'd be cool) before they do something really really stupid.

That book is definately worth reading. I was laughing for hours! Honestly, I love my rational library, but I DO buy every fundamentalist book that comes out. I know you're thinking I'm wasting my money, but some of those things are quite amazing. You have never seen hoops jumped through until you read a YEC book! I've seen incredible acrobatic feats indeed!
