Wow. How realistic. It sounds exactly like you're reading it off of the teleprompter.

Yes, he sounds so natural. And they said that Gore was stiff and inanimate.

I hope you don't mean that.
First of all that would only help Bush: he could pay his buddy oil firms for repairing the oil infrastructure while saying 'look how much american money i spent to help the poor iraqis"
Secondly, nothing justifies polluting the environmnet to that degree.

Nope, because the majority of the people that actually live in Washington, D.C. are not part of the elite that run this country - besides my best friend lives there anyway. =P

As bungled as the build-up to war has been, an invasion has at least plausible legal grounds, as I understand it.

But on what grounds can any country demand that another sovereign nation expel its leader (monstrous as they may be)? Since everybody knows Saddam & Sons will never comply with such a demand -- let alone in 48 hours -- the threat is mere window dressing; a way to blame Iraq for bringing war upon itself.

My favorite was when he said, "We are still committed to the vision of the U.N." -- then basically said that on the other hand this diplomacy stuff is HARD; we had to let them go.
