hah! you want bad movies? How about Dracula's Dog or Maybe The Incredible Melting Man? and for a horrid rip off of Jaws hysteria there is always Tintorera. Maybe Donny and Marie Osmond's flick Deep Purple is more your cup of tea? And nearly anything with Fred Olen Ray's name attached is bound to have the aroma of 5 week old egg salad about it.

Evolution was great! It was one of the best stupid/funny movies I've seen in a while.

Could we stick to films that were released this year pls? Otherwise, this thread will explode into a 20 page rant if it covers all lame films.
Anyway, here is another shitty 2003 release: Bulletproof Monk. |

I actually walked out of "The Hot Chick"...which I only payed 2 bucks to see and *still* think that I was ripped off...
I actually went into it expecting to see another film (can't remember which, exactly, right now...) at the local university when I was in Illinois...but there was a schedule misprint, but I stayed anyway because I though the idea of waking up in a chick's body to be pretty cool...and one that I have thought about deeply...but then again, I would have spent the whole film in the shower if I woke up in a girls body, so... - bryce |

Oh yeah...and I agree about "Dreamcatcher"...only saw it cause the previews looked kinda interesting, and I wanted to see "Final Flight of the Osiris"...
And "8 Mile" was pretty lame as well, IMHO...but what was I expecting? Oh, and whatever you do...avoid "Darkness Falls" at *all* cost! (It's about a freakin' killer _Tooth Fairy_ for crying out loud! But with none of the interesting possibilities of the book "Santa Steps Out" - which I am still looking for a copy of, but I understand has a killer tooth fairy in it...) Well..most of these are on video now...but avoid them anyway...unless you are into self punishment... - bryce |

Dreamcatcher was the worst I have ever seen. Tomcats is an honourable mention.

I'm glad that I was not the only one put off by the mess that was Dreamcatcher. I had planned on mentioning the Gawd-awful Darkness Falls too but even that BS surpassed Dreamcatcher in terms of quality, neatly surpassing it like the moon eclipsing the sun. While the latter is a natural phenomenon of great beauty, films like Dreamcatcher are a testament to Gawd's flawed design by allegedly creating humans. Methinks Baby Jeebus is somewhere, secretly, crying himself softly to sleep
