Apparently a bunch of glass blowers were hauled in by federal agents on the charge of conspiracy to distribute drug paraphernalia.

This �war on drugs� is the most ridiculous waste of money and effort that I have seen in my lifetime.

I was once kicked out of a headshop because I kept calling a bong a bong, and not a waterpipe as the salesperson strongly suggested.

I write this as I sip on my vodka martini and smoke my cigarette � all perfectly legal.

This stupid shit is what your tax money is being spent on. how dangerous can glass blowers really be compared to say, the American Armed forces, or the FBI, or cops in general. Glass blowers don't even carry guns, all those other guys do. Who's dangerous? Bullshit, stupid Nazi bullshit. I worked in a head shop and never once sold a pipe to anyone who was not an adult.Some towel head blows up some buildings and now this is how you prevent it from happening again? going after glass blowers? taking their livelyhood and no doubt harassing them with jail and fines. no way. bullshit.

No one probably cares either cause its not them and they don't blow glass. maybe next it will be companies that make rubber hoses, little rubber gaskets, or everyone with a machine shop and sink screen. Gonna have to shut down and fine all the hardware stores for selling screens. Sears too. Sears has enough tools and equipment to make 300 different bongs. And don't forget Wal-mart. All the bong parts you could imagine at everyday low prices. Bullshit. And tobacco shops.Ever see a pipe in one of those?.... maybe? No? Or Zig-Zags? No?

How about this, next thing they come after are your guns. Walk into all the gun factories and fine and jail everyone working there for making a dangerous product that has made its way into the lives of our children, huh? Betcha that got everyone with a handgun and a Bible to listen. At least I see a trend, they'll leave you the ammunition. Or all the cigarette companies? Hello? How many people die each year directly linked to tobacco? how many with pot? yeah. thought so. And HOLY SHIT, what about fast food places? Nothing in the world could be worse for ya, maybe Heroin, but fast food is also linked directly to poor health and early farm-buying. Or auto companies. think of how many people are hurt and killed each year in car accidents. People not even driving get killed. With a pipe only the dude driving gets wrecked. And you don't have to take the ride.

Bullshit. Some truly harmless folks are being harassed by the powers that be and no one can stop them. These assholes are ruining peoples lives and reputations with arrest records and other legal racketeering measures. This is dumber than making firecrackers illegal.

Hope everyone feels safer knowing a bunch of guys sitting in their garage inhaling smoke and turning out glass will be doing so no more. I mean, someone could cut themselves on that stuff.........bullshit.

It just seems like another "under the radar screen" effort to legislate morality.

Medical marijuanna has been shot down in a couple states and the oregon assisted suicide law is blocked. These are things that the people in the states voted for! So much for the conservative ideal of states rights.

i always thought that everyone in the world should be made to sit down every couple of months and smoke a 'peace pipe' (in a manner of speaking). wonder what that will do to all the aggression in the world. i read somewhere that a new theory about the relatively lower level of aggression in females points to the fact that only women produce a chemical in their brain that is nearly identical to the chemical composition of thc (the active ingredient in marijuana). makes me wonder.....

While the majority of people in the U.S. talk of freedom and liberty, I don't think many of them truly understand what it is. I never have quite figured out where people have determined that they have the right to tell another what they may or may not ingest.

Ah yes, irony is dead. This is from politicans that count the NRA as one of their strongest supporters. (Note that they couldn't say 'gun', even though I strongly suspect that most homicides don't occur using silenced weapons...)
