Default ??Weird Day

Normally I just lurk but I had to share.

I work for a government subcontractor, or at least I did. Today was to be my last day -- I had turned in my resignation letter weeks ago.

Well this morning all the employees get herded into the conference room and told the main contractor has terminated the contract with our company. No jobs for anyone.

Luckily for all my coworkers, the main contractor will be hiring everyone directly.

Wow, do I have good timing or what.

It would have been even stranger had you quit to go work for the main contractor.
