I still don't follow. What claims are those exactly? Perhaps you could give us a few examples?

All that illustrates is that the writers of the Bible crafted clever claims about unbelievers that would perhaps "fit" with the behavior of the unbelievers (though many of the claims don't really fit), knowing that someday in the future someone would strengthen their faith by seeing unbelievers "prove" their claims.

And I'm interested in seeing you list the claims as well, and describe how you see us "proving" those claims.

Heck, I could make a few claims of that sort myself.

"Behold, the god of the universe is Booya, the Almighty and Incoherent! And all who are unbelievers shall DOUBT you when you speak of Booya, and shall claim he does NOT exist! They shall MOCK him and maybe laugh at you too for worshipping his mighty, er, might!

Moreover, they shall be coherent, as he has commanded you NOT to be, and by their fluency shall you know them. Thus doth Booya protect his followers. Now go, and think no more."

My guess is one of the claims you speak of is Psalms 14:1 -- "The fool The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."

Which is, of course, absurd on the face of it. Not a single atheist does good? We do abominable works? (Not that works matter, allegedly, or so I'm told.) I can say to you I've never done an abominalbe work in my life, I'm not corrupt, and just today I held the door open for a woman coming into my office building.

And you say we prove this DAILY? How?

Ever lied or cussed? Both are abominable to God. Ever had sex before marriage or any other sexual escapades? Also abominable. And in general, humans don't do good. There is always an underlying selfishness or personal gain involved in almost everything anyone does. And, yes the first part applies since atheists say there is no God on a daily basis. Some examples of abominable things just on this board: threads discussing your best or worst sexcapades; banning the Bible, but encouraging parents to show their kids pornography; making all drugs legal, including cocaine, heroin etc. so people can die and cause chaos more easily- just what we need, 10 year olds bringing Cocaine to school for lunch; abortion, if you don't want the child, don't screw around, women who fool around with their boyfriend, and then kill a fetus because they don't feel like taking care of it make me sick - that is anabominable act.

God is omnisensitive about "cussing", apparently. And I thought the Bible mentioned god deceiving a few people?

God, having been emasculated at an early age in a terrible Combine accident while "bringing in the sheaves", is a bit psychotic when it comes to sex.

Oh, yes, and we must understand that selfishness and personal gain are always baaad.

So that verse applies to theists as well as atheists? Then where's god's beef with atheists, if we don't do good at the same rate that theists don't do good?

And, yes the first part applies since atheists say there is no God on a daily basis.

Umm, no, many atheists never say that at all. They say they lack belief in God.
