Default Dell Ads

Anybody else sick of the Dell "Intern" ads?

Bring back Stephen the Stoner!

I think Stephen and the Dell Interns should fight to the death. The interns have numbers, but are crippled by their irritating crappiness. Stephen is just an overhyped moron.

I would buy a Dell is they did that.

The Dell Interns schtick is way to campy. I agree. Bring back the Dude!

I loved the Dude.

And I wouldn't buy Dell computers even if they gave me $100.

This reminds me of something on Letterman many many years ago -- "Who would win a fight between Gary Coleman and Ricky Schoeder? The American TV viewing public".

I'd buy a Dell if they gave me about $1500. That way, I could buy a real computer.

But if they gave you 1,500, you'd have to buy a Dell. So I would buy a Dell if they gave me 10,000. Spend 1,000 on the cheapest Dell, and 9,00 customising a non-Dell machine.

I can buy reconfigured Dells cheaper than building one myself, (counting purchase of Microsoft OS). I'm not rich, I make do. The systems are certainly decent for my needs. However, I make no assumptions of or expect decent tech support or anything else of that nature.

Actually refurbished 2350s sell for near $300 occasionally if you watch the refurbished list and refresh often. I would never buy that model however, just an example of how cheap you can get a refurbished Dell.

While I agree with others that I wouldn't by a Dell desktop machine (PCs are just _too_ easy and cheap to build these days), I did purchase a Dell laptop recently and have been well pleased with it.

My company has a Dell employee purchase plan which made the price a bit more reasonable, too.
