Why do I have the desire to hit him over the back of the head with a rolled up newspaper...?

Bin Laden's public denouncement of Hussein? I am sure his only motive was honesty.

Koyaanisqatsi, where are your critical thinking skills? Is this all you have to bring to the table?

Just in line with your what is your proof? thinking - there could be a much better case made for Bush having sth to do with the WTC disaster:

He has ties via his daddy to the CIA, which trained over 10000 religious fanatics in terrorist techniques in Afghanistan.
He is without a doubt by a huge margin the one person in the world who profited the most from 9/11.
He appointed Kissinger to lead the 9/11 investigation which amounts to publicly stating that he is covering up sth about 9/11.
And of course, what seems to be most convincing to the average drunk moron: there is no proof he has nothing to do with it and Bin Laden publicly denounces him.

So yes, let's just kill everyone who does not have airtight proof he has nothing to do with 9/11. And lets also kill at least ten thousand people standing around in his vicinity - just to be safe. Btw, where is the proof you had nothing to do with 9/11, drinks-a-lot?

And, just a bit of advice, maybe you shouldnt deride other peoples critical thinking skills right after you display a piece of asinine reasoning that would make a southern baptist proud - it's just so sad

Which piece of "asinine" reasoning are you referring to? One of the strawmen you presented in your post?

Koyaanisqatsi made a rather strong claim in his first post, offered a flimsy proof, and then called those with disagree with him idiots.

The evidence linking Saddam to Al-Qaeda is as good as the evidence for the existence of God.

No wonder so many people here don't believe it.

Innocent until proven guilty, so why are you demanding proof from Koyaanisqatsi?

Koyaanisqatsi,

That is a fantastic nick. An adage from the Hopi Indians meaning "World Out of Sync."

I saw the film, which was essentially an animated collage put to music. The imagery and music told the whole story. It was a moving experience to watch that movie. I have been searching for it ever since and cannot seem to locate a copy anywhere. I highly suggest it to anyone that can lay his or her hands on a copy.

The Hopi Indians believed that the Nordic invaders were literally "not of this earth" due to the Nordic white mans disharmony with nature.
