It is rare for me to make a request that stretches beyond a person's posting behavior, but I think this case calls for an exception. I would ask you, just as one person to another, to think seriously about the way these comments portray you and your character. Whether they are true or not, they have in my opinion done more to damage your credibility as a Christian and as a follower of Jesus Christ than anything else you've done on these boards.

If that doesn't matter to you, then forgive me for mentioning it. I won't do so again.

An excellent idea! Having read the thread over this morning, I think that perhaps the best way to accomplish this is to shut this thread down.

I hope, though, that this won't kill the discussions going on (and there are several of them)--feel free to start one, or several, new topics in order to discuss the issues this thread has brought up. Heck, if you want, you can e-mail me and I'll do it.
