Gone, missed, mourned, but certainly not forgotten.

He was 28, I think. At least, in that neighborhood.

He was too young to die. This such a tragedy.

I don't know what to say... knowing he'll never be back makes me feel ill. I talked to him a few times and knew he was in a lot of pain. I didn't realize it would come to this and I feel profoundly stupid. I want to say all sorts of complimentary things about Mad -- his sense of other people, his finely tuned bullshit meter, his uncanny perceptiveness, his absolutely wicked way with words -- but it all seems so redundant, and hardly does his memory justice.

I haven't posted a lot, but I have read a lot, and MadMordigan was a veteran poster I always looked for......sort of like an anchor in any thread...I'm not sure if that makes sense, but that's how I always thought of him.

i will miss you, MadMordigan

Crap! Just...crap! He was so funny and irreverent, and often brought much needed levity to forums where people were starting to really get on each other's nerves. He would do it by posting the most outrageous things, that at first glance would seem wildly inappropriate, but would actually serve to cool things off and make people laugh.

It was a rare talent.

Can't say I had much in the way of interaction with him, but I sure noticed him.

My condolences to those who knew him best.

Guess I'll read the rest of this thread now.

Lots of friends. It was one of them who told us.

I got the impression his friends were his family--yet another plane on which I can identify strongly with him.
My full condolences, Diana; and please pass my condolences on.

I had wondered why I hadn't seen a post of his for a while.
