God knocked off 14,700 Jews in Numbers 16:44-49, by the way.

That much is clear.

OOh, here's one of my favorites:

200 Philistine men, to obtain their foreskins, in order to buy a bride. (1 Samuel 18:27)

I wonder what the buying power of 200 Philistine foreskins is today?

How's this from a previous page:

For you, and atheists in general, there is the luxury of getting morally pissed off without any morally valid REASON for being pissed off. If this woman did something that is morally wrong, what was it, and why was it morally wrong?

Leaving her kids to fry in the car was wrong. If I have to explain why it was morally wrong to you, you are either baiting me or have serious value issues.</strong>

In case I haven't been clear as to why I consider human life to be more precious than ant life, it is because God created mankind in His own image.

That's totally profound, wow I don't know what to say now.

By the way, where does it say in the Bible that human life is more precious than ant life?

And for you to HAVE a code that differs from God's proves that it is possible to have a moral code WITHOUT a God.

Therefore, it is possible for we atheists to have moral codes as well."

The "difference" isn't so much in my moral code itself; it has more to do with my own morally flawed nature and how that often defeats my best attempts at trying to live up to God's commands. Nice try, though.

It's more than a nice try. You just admitted in your very own words that you have a "moral code". You may claim that it's inferior to God's (though I daresay you never told anybody to kill someone for his foreskin), but you've admitted you have one.

Thank you very much for admitting such. You've just shot your own argument smack dab in the foot.
