I wasn't quite sure where to place this, so feel free to move it.

While I was in church today, the pastor spoke about Bush declaring this week to be a week to pray to prevent gays and lesbians from being legally recognized as married. I went to au.org, but couldn't find anything concerning this. Has anyone read or heard about this? If so, let me know.

Your pastor is a week late, which only shows how poorly advertised was the president's proclaimation of Marriage Protection Week. MPW began last Sunday and is now over. Of course, in many churches every week is anti-gay week.
