What's the big deal? I've seen thousands of misguided paintings in my life. Let the guy sell his work(crappy and historically innacurate it may be) in peace.

Haha, yeah, I want to be compared to the crusaders, they were such nice, caring people...

Subject matter aside, that is one of the worst paintings I have ever seen. Not only does Dubya not look like Dubya, but the building looks like some kind of bastardized chimera between the Whitehouse and Capitol. And it's crooked! Couldn't the "artist" have at least bothered to look at a picture of whichever building s/he was trying to render? I really hope that this person does not make a living selling his or her artwork. Or at least I hope it's a very meager living.... theyeti |

Wonder if Washington and Lincoln would approve of Dubya's business or military record - I think *not*. |

The same kind of people who buy a picture like this one of Dubya also buy those paintings of angels watching little kids crossing a wooden bridge, or pictures of little girls with ribbons in their hair, hands clasped in prayer. Guaranteed to have a painting on the wall with that cheesy "Footsteps" prayer. Laci, what's on your walls, anyhow? |
