Hi godfry

For years it was via Larne on the old type ferry, used to be sick as a dog. If I'm going now it's by good ole plane though if I wanted to go by sea it's with the seacat, great invention and it goes straight into Belfast now.

Thought about swimming but didn't fancy my toes being nibbled by wayward great whites

[pointless bragging]Those are designed and built about 3-4 km from me, and they just handed one over to the US Navy a couple of days ago- apparently the first ship ever built for them outside the US.

I'm only 22 (so that's my excuse for the small count) and all of these but Canada come from a single trip:

UK
France
Switzerland
Italy
Canada

And I live in the US. That's six. I'm lame. But I can claim to have understood a little over two thirds of what the trilingual tour guide on a boat in the Seine said. That probably annoyed my mother since the guide spoke French first and I was already looking at things before she got to hear the English.

I have been to all 48 states in the contiguous US, though. And I got to them all by car. Didn't fly until I was eighteen. My mother was in her forties at the time and I had the marks on my hand from takeoff for about six hours afterwards.

England (mother was born in Blackpool)
Wales
U.S.

I'm moving to Vancouver Island next year so I probably won't need to travel anymore. Too many beautiful places on the island to explore.

British Hong Kong *
Chinese Hong Kong *

* I was there for the takeover, so that counts as two countries, right?

**I know, I know but my list was too short, even with the two Hong Kongs...

No excuse--all but the last entry on my list was before I turned 18.
