Theres a BIG difference between the two. The Christian costumes are sick and scary while the costumes you just showed us are friggen AWESOME!!!
I was a kid during that time period and I don`t remember seeing those Welcome back Kotter or Gong Show costume at the stores.
I`d wear those right now if I could!

I`m keeping my opinion of these costumes to myself since it`s much too politically incorrect and rude to say on a public message board.

It's not serious. From the website:

issues of faith and fellowship. While I always include a kernel of spiritual truth,
the Top Ten should not be considered, or judged as a serious treatment of any of the topics presented.

Dude, I would love that "Joanie Loves Chachi" costume!! Joanie's not the only one.

And that "Electric Company" one brings back fond memories as well.

I am emailing that site out to my friends!! Thanks!

Any kid showing up at my house in one of these would get a year-old Tootsie Roll. What kind of demented parents would "let" their kids do Halloween that way? It's like sending them to first grade with glasses, braces and an asthma inhaler. Just keep 'em at home and let the neighbor kids come by in shifts to beat the living crap out of 'em why don'tcha.

Cool

Look at the size of this guy and his family. Even their cat is huge! Methinks they like Hallowe'en a bit more than he lets on.
