This site used to go pretty quick without ever having any issues for me up until just recently. For someone who sneaks a quick reply or post in during work here and there the new busy errors and delays have made that almost impossible.

Is this because the site is getting more visitors right now, getting attacked by some wackos or is it possibly a connection issue on my end?

The problem is our current server. It just can't keep up with our growing forum. We will be migrating to a new server soon, hopefully within a week.

Problem is, the forum isn't growing anymore, because new users are turned away.

I've tried everything short of the "new server" solution and nothing seems to make things any better (not according to my analysis, anyway). We just need to suffer through, and hope that the "new users" who opt to not stick around right now will give us another shot after the server upgrade is complete.
