Weak arguments!!?? ROTFLMAO!!!! If you only knew.

Hmmm... Good point. I dunno.

... of course, that's not a literal translation of the Tel Dan inscription, but I really don't read the language very well.

Not a bad poem, but I think it's probably a forgery because obviously that King was so much more intelligent than everyone else, they thought he was an idiot. Kinda like Hamlet.

K. Arthur,

So you like BAR, the magazine edited by a conservative evangelical lawyer, Hershel Shanks, which magazine once had an article about ancient Israelites in America? That has ads with a definite conservative christian slant?

And you like Dever (Finkelstein mentions in his book) whose peasant revolt hypothesis fell out of favor?

Poor characterization, but yes. BTW, most if not all of the scholars listed here have had a voice in that publication. If the scholars you like have written for it as well, why do you care?

It's ok if they insult me, really. I love it!

Is anyone being mean? I think they're just trying to one-up me. Thassall...

It's fun to know what you're talking about but sit back and play the fool.

K. Arthur,

I don't have much respect for that magazine (notice I call it a MAGAZINE), when they publish such nonsense as so-called ancient Israelite artifacts in America. I also consider questionable an article by Bryant Woods, about the conquest of Jericho in the 14th century B.C. by Israelites.

I understand. They are controversial and sensational. However, they also publish good stuff. They can be found in the references of many scholarly books.
