Also in the late term abortion the baby is given birth any ways. It makes no difference to the mother life if it come out a live. FACT is that these women who have these late term abotion non of them have to kill the child. They doctor could just induse premature labor and not kill the child.

VTboy, "health" includes psychological health.
I still don't get this "partial-birth abortion" deal. Wisconsin has this (unconstitutional, after Stenberg v. Carhart) statute on its books:
This is a Class A felony, with the following exceptions: "if the partial-birth abortion is necessary to save the life of a woman whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness or physical injury, including a life-endangering physical disorder, physical illness or physical injury caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself, and if no other medical procedure would suffice for that purpose." I'd still like to know the incidence of this procedure, especially in so-called second trimester pregnancies. |

You seem to have a very low regard for the women who give birth, and very little experience with pregnancy. Do you really think a woman is going to go through 7 months of pregnancy and then abort on a whim? Do you think you know more about the situation than the doctors who use this misnamed procedure? |

Why don't we start showing up to anti-choice rallies with pictures such as these:
holoprosencephaly anencephaly Anti-choice activists think abortion doctors are immoral? Shit, what do you call their (alleged) creator who made babies that have their brain hanging out of their skull? God is the worst baby killer of all time. :banghead: What's really tragic is that women who do carry fetuses with these unfortunate birth defects probably have to abort them just to survive, then they are greeted with their friendly neighborhood christians with "baby killer." :banghead: Here's some data I found on pubmed: The reasons for termination of pregnancy in the third trimester. Toto yes a woman would. Thousands of partial birth abortion and this is not a misnaming the baby is partialy born then aborted, because of mental issues. The mother life is not indanger only that the doctor thinks she has menal issues. The fact is it is very easy for a women to pretend to be crazy. Any one can fake insaniity.

I would also point out most of these procedures are done where the child can already feel pain. The procedure is extremly painfull for the child. It dies a horribly painfull death that few people can imagin.

VTboy - you have a vivid imagination, but I don't think it has any basis in reality. Your images have been manipulated by a propaganda campaign run by the religious right. I don't see any evidence that you know anything about the subject. Do you have even one example of this scenario?

Toto the Fetus can feel pain. I assure you that the procedure is very painfull. You have very strange imagaination if you think the fetus can't pain. I dont see you giving any facts to back up what you say.
