Default Media Hype

Who out there thinks that the only winners in this so called war will be the media . . how great (NOT) it is to see the sharks circling waiting for the first trickle of blood to hit the pond so the feeding frenzy can begin . . .I just saw Saddam on the box . . he looks a little like bait.

I disagree. If we are able to liberate the people of Iraq and give them back their freedom and their dignity - the people of Iraq will be the big winners.

If liberating the people of Iraq means establishing a new western friendly government and destroying their beliefs, then I think thats wrong, If it means ridding the world of Saddam, thats okay, but which ever way it goes, the media is the serious player here, especially if it is stage managed by military as it was last time round.

Why doesn't he just go there with his stupid bible and liberate the Iraqis that way? That way Bush himself could go and be the real leader of the pack. Now the whole world is angry with him and they are angry with the God that motivates him.

Yeah sure, nothing gives people back their dignity like a foreign occupation force.

Don't be cynical. Iraq has plenty of oil to keep Bush's attention.

"We have no ambitions for Iraq"

in exactly the same way as they had no ambitions for Afghanistan.

spurly...are you some sort of BushWarBot?

Liberate? Dignity? 800 Tomahawks scheduled to drop on Baghdad...watching your loved ones blow up is not liberating or dignified. Pipe down Pollyanna and open your eyes.
