Zentraedi, is English your first language?
(You’re not writing your posts in Spanish, are you, and going to Dictionary dot com to have them translated?)

Just wondered.

God dissaproves of rape because it hurts the victim, it violates the victims rights, and generally makes society less stable.

OR

Rape is wrong because god dissaproves of rape.

Please choose one or come up with a similar answer, that ACTUALLY spells out why god would dissapprove of rape.</strong>
You already had the answer you wanted me to hear out, and posted it in your first post on this topic. And now I've answered it.

You've never taken a psychology class have you? Have you ever heard of learned behavior?

And rape? How do you know when an animal has been raped? Did they tell you? Write you a letter? I have never seen a documentary where the guide will point and say, "See those lions over there raping each other..." Do you want them to go on dates? Listen to Barry Manilow? Give each other flowers and chocolates?
And rarely have I seen animals steal without good reason to. I wouldn't even call it stealing. I certainly wouldn't say humans behave any better. Much worse if you ask me. Often times, I see animals sharing.</strong>
I don't hold anything against animals, I am an animal. Do you have to talk to an animal to know how it feels? Ever heard of body language? I think we are smart enough to know when an animal dislikes what is being done to it.
For example the lioness growls at the advantancing male in a threatening manner, but the male over powers her. Hunching on her, holding her down till he is done. If human being were to do the exact same thing(insert no, in place of the threatening growl) we would considering rape. I feel stupid having to explain something so obvious but oh well!

Why because of my bad grammer and spelling? I usually take the time to check this with Microsoft Word, but not if I am conversing with someone back over that span of minutes.

O.K., Megeth and Hawkingfan really thorugh this discussion off track and I seemed to ignore a couple people who made valid points. This topic was not to get to any point rather help me come up with fix some good flaws in my close to atheist-like beliefs. The most daunting being Atheism seems more negative to helping me in reality then maybe a religion would. The truth hurts. First you are in the minority. Second, you rely heavily on science to understand your world, which is a good thing except that its yet to explain the more important questions.

My question:
What is your purpose to life. What is the reason the first entity that could reproduce(earliest form of RNA?), reproduced itself? There is so many things going on around you right at this moment that are happening for no reason that I can comprehend unless some outside intelligence, or collective intelligence has a hand in it.

Where do you get this nonsense?

I would bet anything that a lion cannot rape a lioness.

I have seen documentaries where a wolf was trying to mate and never succeeded because the female kept putting her tail between her legs.

You are just making this up.
Try again.

From our point of view we can view animals raping. But to most animals, rape does not exist. I don't really want to talk about this anymore.

Wow, what power I have. I haven't posted on this thread in two weeks, and the posts I made were responses to Zentraedi's posts, yet I was instrumental in "throughing" this discussion off track.

Note that Zentraedi has opened at least two threads today on different forums asking these same questions.

Zen baby,

I think you try too hard. I don't have the time right now to read everything here to see if someone else said this but you just don't have a positive belief in MAN, plain and simple. Your questions initially come off deep but once logic and rational are applied you come off shallow.

Why are we not capable of observing enough cause/effect relationships to determine our own morality and paths to better living? Why must we have some higher power thing attatched to it before you see it as a valid way to be?

All man needs is the truth. That’s it. Really, it’s THAT SIMPLE. Just truth. Once we are allowed by the men in power to have that even your questions can be answered. You may not like the ultimate answer but I'll gather you could still handle it.
