You know what?
My girlfriend was short. I mean SHORT...like, 5'0". If she'd randomly gained a few inches, she would have looked significantly different. Call me xenophobic, or conservative, but I say that short people should remain short, because they grow into their body size class and therefore look normal. If you artificially tack on a few inches, what happens to their proportioning? To they grow normally, or does it just add onto appendages?  BAH HUMBUG to that! Oh yeah, I'm 6'2". It was a slight pain in the ass (neck, really) to kiss her standing up.
