In my experience gay men (especially young gay men) tend to be rather thin. In fact anorexia is looking like it's starting to become a big problem among young, gay men. Gay men drink and smoke too much? So do a large amount of heterosexuals. Big frick'n deal. As for depressed lives, none of my gay friends are depressed, although they do tend to have a lot of drama, but that's because I hang around drama queens. The couple depressed gay people I know were depressed for the following reasons:

1. One was upset that he could not tell his parents about his boyfriend and felt incredibly isolated because of it.

2. The other was depressed because his best friend killed himself right in front of him. Oh, did I mention that said friend killed himself because his father had just kicked him out of the house and disowned him because he told his father he was gay?
